A Week of Freedom

Melanie was able to leave the hospital today. Not just an hour drive, but she is now staying with Greg and Charise for a week. It is going to be a very Merry Christmas indeed! She will start round two of chemo on the 28th. Until then, she is feeling great not having to be attached to shithead and having nurses poke and prod. We will post and add some pictures tonight!

A very HAPPY day!!!!

Wow! What a difference a day makes! It was terrific to see you looking so well just 24 hours ago . . and to know that there was a chance of a change of scenery, etc. for you! Now, here you are . . . with some freedom and family to spend more time with. You'll be missed there in room 812, but so blessed to be in Greg's home. Best wishes for renewed energy and vitality! Merry 5 days until Christmas! Yippeee! Love, Kerren

What perfect timing!!! SO happy for you to get a break from being a "patient" for a few days, and just get to be a regular person and a mom! Enjoy! And stay away from sick people! :) Have a merry Christmas!
